The VPI system is used for impregnating of elements of electrical motors, and also can be used for impregnating of reactor, power transformer, etc. The insulation class can be up to H class. This VPI system is designed and made as per customer’s requirements.

3.1、Vacuum pressure impregnating tank

3.1.1 Effective size: Φ1600×3000mm, vertical type, Q345R carbon steel

3.1.2 Working vacuum degree: 50Pa (adjustable), leakage ≤50Pa.L/s

3.1.3 Working pressure: max. 1.0Mpa (with safety valve)

3.1.4 Working temperature: normal temperature ~ +80C

3.1.5 VPI tank capacity: max. 35 ton

3.1.6 Hydraulic open & lock for doors , with safety locking device

3.1.7 two sight glasses and one lighting

3.1.8 Resin material feeding from the bottom, automatic stopping when match the level

3.1.9 Configured with one set of liqidometer

3.1.10 VPI basket diameter 1400mm x 2800mm, used for loading and unloading product, loading capacity is min.20 ton.

3.3、Vacuum pump system

3.3.1 Vacuum pump: Leybold brand for Fore Pump (Rotary Pump), SV-300B, Shanghai Sunny brand for Roots pump.

3.3.2 Components: manual vacuum main valve, electrical tape charging valve, filter, vacuum meter, pipelines, valves, etc

 

3.4Compressed air filter

3.4.1 The filter is used to filtering the compressed air before using in VPI system

3.4.2 Adopts 3 level of filter system. Working time <10 minutes

3.4.2 After filtering the air no oil, no dust, no water, dew point temperature up to -20C

3.4.3 The filter can adjust the air pressure

3.4.4 The compressed air source shall be prepared by Buyer

 

3.5Heating system

3.5.1 Heating power 54KW, electrical heating circle water. The heated water can heat the resin material through heat exchanger. So the storage tank resin can be heated before feeding to VPI tank, to reduce the viscosity.

3.5.2 The temperature is automatically controlled, overload alarm, max. 80C

3.5.3 Heating efficiency 5C per hour

 

3.6Cooling system

3.6.1 Automatic running PC-3 cooling water system, used for cooling for storage tank and condensator

3.6.2 Configured with heat exchanger, pump, pipes, filter, etc.

3.6.3 Cooling efficiency 6C per hour

 

3.7Hydraulic system

3.7.1 Max. pressure 16Mpa, working pressure 10Mpa

3.7.2 Used for the open and locking for the tank door

 

3.8Material feedback system

3.8.1 Components: valves, pipeline, filter, etc

3.8.2 Configured with high precision filters, precision up to 150μm

 

3.9Controlling system

3.9.1 Integrated controlling cabinet mainly consists of industrial computer, Mitsubishi PLC, digital vacuum meter, temperature controller, sensors, and so on.

3.9.2 10 inch touch screen with the related VPI software. Vacuum, pressure, temperature, resin level automatic detecting, record. All parameters can be checked, printed, and output.

3.9.3 Motors, valves, pneumatic valves, and meters, are all connected, the working condition can be controlled and indicated on the screen,

3.9.4 Resin level alarm, over pressure alarm, valve alarm, motor alarm, wrong operating alarm, etc. All issues can be indicated on the screen

3.9.5 Automatic record the running time of the each process

3.9.6 System can be connected by internet, with remote control, maintenance and detecting

 

3.10Cooling water system for vacuum pump

3.10.1 Components: water tank, pipelines, valves, etc

 

3.11Ventilation system

3.11.1 Components: centrifugal fan, controlling valve, pipeline, etc.

3.11.2 Used to exhaust the air to keep healthy environment, 1200m3 per hour

 

3.12Steel frame platform

3.12.1 One set steel frame platform for the machine used to cover the pit
